"Immigrants cause less crime, yada, yada..."

Seems this isn't the case in New York City where 75% of crime in Manhattan is done by illegal aliens.

Legal immigrants (Hooray!) commit less crime than the general US population. Good for them! ILLEGAL ALIENS on the other hand commit far more crime. Just one more reason to DEPORT THEM ALL!
This OP is a crime against truth - and you claim to be an American!

nypost and fox.com? There is no evidence that immigrants in NYC commit more crime than native‑born residents overall. Your search results show two different things: (1) a subset of recent asylum‑seekers involved in arrests , and (2) crime increases in immigrant neighborhoods, which does not mean immigrants are the offenders .The broader research consensus (NYU, CUNY, national criminology studies) consistently finds immigrants commit less crime than native‑born Americans, including in NYC. .yahoo.com/news/shocking-data-detail-nyc-illegal-185246378.html?utm_source=copilot.com (and) www.kclu.org/2025-04-28/non-major-crime-rate-at-a-20-year-high-in-several-nyc-immigrant-neighborhoods-data-shows?utm_source=copilot.com

A. NYPD data on

  • 3,219 migrants in shelters were arrested 4,884 times between Jan 2023–Oct 2024.
  • This represents about 4% of the 200,000+ asylum seekers who arrived.
  • Most charges were petit larceny, assault, and drug offenses.
What this means: A small subset of recent arrivals committed crimes — but this does not reflect immigrants as a whole. www.yahoo.com/news/shocking-data-detail-nyc-illegal-185246378.html?utm_source=copilot.com

Reconciling the Headlines With the Data

ClaimWhat the Data Actually Shows
“Migrants are causing crime in NYC”A small subset of recent asylum seekers committed crimes; this does not reflect immigrants overall.
“Crime is rising in immigrant neighborhoods”True in some areas — but offenders are not necessarily immigrants.
“Immigrants commit less crime”Supported by decades of NYC and national research.

5. Bottom Line

Yes — the statement “immigrants cause less crime in NYC” is broadly true when referring to immigrants as a whole. Your search results highlight specific subgroups and neighborhood trends, but they do not contradict the long‑standing finding that immigrants overall are less likely to commit crime than native‑born residents.
Do not show TA facts that disprove his "Democrats always suck" mind-set. He's a goner. Right now all I do his troll him. I think it was when he saw the fuck ups of ICE and realized trump's bullshit overstepped when his gaslighting went into overdrive.

So, who do you mean by "THEM ALL"?
He means anyone now white or English-speaking. If TA's able to slander them all by calling them "criminals" all the best. What @T. A. Gardner well knows, it's NOT criminals trump's deporting. It's parents picking their kids up from school - it's bus boys, day laborers.

During the Trump administration's second term, internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) data from late 2025 and early 2026 reveals that fewer than 14% of the nearly 400,000 individuals arrested by ICE had charges or convictions for violent crimes.

Fewer than 14% Terry! The rest are just people escaping tyranny and trying to feed their kids.

You're a lying racist asshole, Terry.

Trivial objections fallacy. Is the information presented in the article accurate? You are just making a Sorites fallacy here by implying you reject the data because it isn't comprehensive to all of NYC.
Your first sentence in the OP is: "Seems this isn't the case in New York City where 75% of crime in Manhattan is done by illegal aliens."

The article was about a part (actually a small part) of one borough, not about NYC. You are implying things about NYC on data that is not comprehensive of all of NYC.

Is that surprising??????

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN!

So this rag of a newspaper had to pick the arrest records of TWO precincts of 78 total precincts in NYC...to make a point about...what???

The north midtown precinct (the 18th) and the south midtown precinct (the 14th)...out of 78 total precincts to make what???

Wake the fuck up!
Corn Pop thinks it matters which precincts the paper used, as if they should have picked ones without crime, lol. He'd likely say that's unfair because those districts are mostly illegal aliens. If so, we have another problem that we can solve. An entire district can be picked up by ICE.

If anyone is trying to make a point about who is doing most of the crime in high crime places with large numbers of illegal aliens, unless they're morons, they're most likely going to use high crime districts. This is too much logic for a moron like Corn Pop. Apparently, if we gave Corn Pop our money to study illegal alien crime stats, he'd go to districts with low crime and very little if not zero illegals live. Libtard logic on display.

Reputable sources have been used here to rebut the silly OP. Anybody who has not seen them should go look for them. And one can laugh himself silly when Tobytone starts his uneducated, non-understood grasp of the topic.
