People coming from China were limited to US citizens and they were REQUIRED to quarantine for 14 days after arrival. We also banned people from Europe.


Really I guess that is the reason New York has flattened the curve. Trump made sure they got a shit load of tests , ventilators, hospital beds, I.V., Nurses, Doctors, and meds. During the time you said he was bumbling around. You know states were supposed to have their own tools to fight a pandemic. Most did very little to prepare.

Trump did get a "shitload" of anything for anyone, in reality, States had to bid for supplies on the open market against each other, foreign nations, and even the Federal Gov't, and even today, they still don't have the testing resources nor protection gear they need to combat the virus

And States can't prepare for a pandemic, they don't have State equivalents as the CDC, FEMA, FDA nor DHS, and the States spending ability pales in comparison to that of the Federal Gov't
