The dumb fucks on the Trump right don't get the US is changing and not for their betterment.

Every election the political environment favors them less and less, so that now (2018) they have to have every red Jack and Jill on the battlements and that still may not be enough. If not 2018, then 2020 or 2022. It's inevitable.

Donald Trump and his asshole supporters COULD MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN...

...by moving to Antarctica.

They won't.

They just want to talk about making America great...not actually doing it.

You'd be hard pressed to find any political party in as complete control of all three branches of federal government and damn near all the state governments...

...and getting less done.

The American right does not know how to beat its way out of a wet paper bag...much less govern effectively.

They are fucked as much as we by their ineptitude.

They just cannot see it.

Okay...I get your point. And there are times I have argued that "doing less" can be better than "doing more."

But there are times when "doing the wrong thing" is MUCH WORSE than "doing the right thing." Doing nothing is seldom an option in governance.

BOTTOM LINE: I understand the anger some people have with government and governance...but both are essential to civilization. Chaos and anarchy will never win the day...and "chaos and anarchy" are essentially the alternative to government and governance.

I personally see the Republicans as particularly inept at governance. They see to hate it...and hate doing it...and almost never do it effectively.

They should limit themselves to keeping the other party in check...rather than trying to replace it.

Frank, I don't have a problem with activist government, I just don't want to see it at the federal level.
 
kavanaugh's sins as a teenager are important, but not as important as his testimony in which he cried like a baby and claimed he was a victim of a cabal that was a reaction to the 2016 election. How dumb was that? Then the Clintons are after him. What an idiot he is. Then saying "what goes around comes around". He disqualified hoimself as a neutral and fair minded judge. He should be on no court, let alone the most important in the world. No honest and fair minded person can vote for him. It requires a subservience to party politics and right wing dogma over a fair and honest vote.

The people who wanted that in the American south during the mid-19th century would still own black people as slaves if we did it.

You want what the people of the south wanted during the mid-19th century. You want states to govern...states to determine what can and cannot legally happen.

And if you are any kind of decent golfer...which I suspect you are not...you would not be golf advising anyone about anything from a distance without even seeing anything about swing or temperament.

Now take your four clubs and shove them up your ass. (I'd suggest, from long distance, doing it at one time rather than one at a time.)
