that's my answer, and im sticking to it. we can just agree to disagree.
The answer is this; as the world become more modern and the economy was growing at a very rapid pace, it became apparent that carrying around bags of gold was inefficient, not to mention dangerous and easy to get robbed.
Therefore, fiat became a better lubricant to feed a growing economy and keep it growing at a rapid pace. Today, we have almost done away with fiat and instead go straight electronic currency which is even more effective and safe than fiat.
Why does fiat currency work? Because people are willing to accept it for goods and services rendered.![]()
Now you are much better informed.![]()
yeah, I reject all that horseshit. the downside, totalitarianism, makes it all stupid and foolish.
So you reject REALITY and the FACTS? Fascinating. Carry on!
its a matter of values. I think totalitarianism is bad.
Doesn't everyone?
central banks are specified in the communist manifesto. are you the leftist? or was communism also an elitist movement?
A central bank was also created under the Washington administration by many of the same people who wrote our Constitution.
well they were masons....
fiat currency is still totalitarianism.
As much as I'd love to break away from the two party situation we're currently in, I think the best thing is to just say the person with the most votes is the winner. Like even typing that sentence feels weird because how is that not already a thing?!
You want Congress regulating your currency?
