For those who seemed confused about January 6th and insurrection, this is what insurrection looks like.

These brainless, repugnant America hating Democrats should be sanctioned and impeached out of Congress.

Democratic lawmakers urge U.S. service members to defy ‘illegal orders’ from Trump administration

A band of Democratic lawmakers is urging members of the U.S. military to defy orders from President Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth if the orders are illegal.

Sen. Elissa Slotkin, Michigan Democrat, posted a video Tuesday on X with half a dozen other members of Congress who have either military or intelligence backgrounds, telling service members not to “give up the ship,” a famous rallying cry from the War of 1812.

“Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders. You can refuse illegal orders. You must refuse illegal orders,” they said, taking turns delivering the lines.

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said the Democratic lawmakers are “openly calling for insurrection.”

The lawmakers included Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona and Reps. Chris DeLuzio of Pennsylvania, Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire, Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania and Jason Crow of Colorado.

“We want to speak directly to members of the military and the intelligence community who take risks each day to keep Americans safe,” the lawmakers said in the video. “We know you are under enormous stress and pressure right now.”

The lawmakers said that American trust in the military is at risk because the Trump administration “is pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens.”

The lawmakers didn’t specifically mention any orders that Mr. Trump or Mr. Hegseth have made that they consider illegal.

Administration officials were quick to criticize the video.

Mr. Hegseth said the lawmakers have “Stage 4 TDS” or Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Other military veterans also responded with dismay.

“When I was a Special Forces Captain, I refused the unlawful order to receive an experimental shot and was forced out of the Army for it,” John Frankman, a former Green Beret, wrote on X. “Where do Democrats get off putting out [expletive] like this?”

Indeed, they plainly don’t believe one word they’re saying, or they’d detail exactly what illegal orders Team Trump has issued.

Democrats are a party of unserious liars and election deniers. by believing that Trump isn’t the legitimately elected President, inciting insurrection is okay in their sick delusional minds.

Until now, we’ve respected Kelly and Slotkin; it’s appalling to see them sink so low.

Naive. I’ve never respected corrupt liars on the left.

it’s a contemptible gambit that tiptoes to the edge of sedition.

This is not tip toeing. They are inciting insurrection. The reason is obvious. They are election deniers and refuse to accept that Trump is the duly elected President regardless of their deranged mental state.

Article 94 (Mutiny or Sedition): This article is used for actions involving a concerted effort to refuse orders, create violence or a disturbance with the intent to usurp or override lawful military authority, or overthrow civil authority.

Punishment: Conviction can lead to death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct.

Federal Law (18 U.S. Code § 2387):

Federal law also makes it a crime TO CAUSE insubordination, disloyalty, or refusal of duty among military members, with a maximum penalty of 10 years of imprisonment and a fine......

Guess what geniuses, if you are collecting ANY type of pay (disability, retirement, exchanged privileges, etc.) you are still subject to the UCMJ. Pretty high punishment on that one:

10 U.S. Code § 894 - Art. 94. Mutiny or sedition

Yes, military members have a duty to refuse unlawful orders and can get in trouble for failing to do so. Refusing an illegal order is not a punishable offense; in fact, following one can lead to criminal liability for the service member.
