I have to admit I was curious as to why he wasn't killing bad guys and painting the target, but I really didn't put two and two together. This analysis is very damning for the President. Unless of course you want to believe that this Navy SEAL was either incompetent or just plain stupid. Now Obama says he gave orders to protect the personnel. So who didn't follow his order?

Exactly what I asked a half dozen times on this board.....who did he give these orders to or is he just lying his ass off again....
ALSO

when will we find out if the 2 drones over the attack site were armed
If they were, why weren't they used
Why weren't C130 gunships sent to aid the Americans at the Annex or Consulate
Who made these decisions

Why was NOTHING done in an attempt to protect our people.

This is gross incompetance of everyone in a decision making positions of power.....

Forget the source for a second. Do you understand what they mean by painting a target? It means that he was basically shining a laser on the mortars so that they could get wiped out. The only reason to do that is if you are reasonably sure that there is something that is going to wipe them out. For some reason he thought that help was on the way. Why else would he put himself in that much danger because while you are painting the target you are yourself a target. If he had thought that there was no air support coming, he would have found other ways of trying to take out the targets or would have retreated.

SEALS are highly trained operators. They specialize in thinking on their feet and making quick decisions in dire situations.

Try using some critical thinking skills for a change. Or would that cause a conflict in your reality of OWEblahblah can do no wrong?
