Trump has no legal duty to cooperate with the Congresses investigation, he can and will claim executive privilege and take every request by the Congress to provide witnesses or documents from the executive department will be challenged in the courts. Since all of those witnesses and documents have already been provided to Muller, the Congress will lose every court case.

If the House delivers articles of impeachment to the Senate, the Republican controlled Senate will never vote with a 2/3 majority to remove this President. Every congressional Democrat knows that and or should know that, thus All of this investigating horseshit by the Democrats is simply silly theater with an insane agenda to defame and embarrass Trump all the way to the 2020 election. Mueller was tasked with investigating Russian interference. Thirteen Russians and 3 Russian companies are under indictment for that. One has to live in an alternate reality to claim none of the crimes charged were part of the quest of the investigation.

I seem to recall Manafort was separated from general population for his own safety. He was in jail awaiting trial after he violated his bail. It was the judge that ruled on his violation. If Manafort hadn't violated the requirements of his bail he would have been sitting at home. No one to blame but Manafort for that one.

I have no idea why they served the warrant on Stone the way they did. Perhaps they were privy to information about how Stone was armed and wasn't going to give himself up. Stone certainly hasn't done himself any favors since then by threatening the judge.
