Iran Has Halted Oil Transactions In Dollars - It begins...

I do believe that Billy Bob...claimed the positive while in office...albeit it was Reagan who put us in the black...the war on terrorism has drained the vault...both parties are equally guilty...Congress does control the purse strings...not the President...get a clue usc!

Umm that was not me....Take a nap old man.

Um, Top, how is a substantially less demand for the dollar not a bad thing?

China can divest dollars, and diversify into euros.

And here's a hanky for your tears: you voted for reagan and bush, the ones that thought creating deficits and massive debt was a great idea. And that financing trillion dollar wars in Iraq with borrowed money was a great idea.

you voted for Reagan too. This debt is on your hands Cypress!!!

:)

Iran now joins Venezuela and Russia as oil producers who no longer accept the dollar in exchange for their oil. Iraq did the same thing and we attacked them for it. The warmongers thought they could use military force to compel the world to use our currency.

The Great Game .. and we're on the losing end of it.

for once i agree with you. America will loose the currency war in the long run. THO in even the longer run you will likely see a Amero or even a global currency.

should be interesting to see what happens when EURO currency hits its first true test.. slapping all these countries together under one umbrella all in agreement wont last long.

LadyT wants to join USC as a back up singer for "Deshtard and the recessionista's".

Take a look at a longterm chart of the dollar LadyT and you'll see fearmongering is what's going on now.

all this fear mongering.. how do you sleep at night..

The terrorist are going to get us
the glaciers are going to melt and flood us
the dollar is going to collapse and be worthless
the economy is gonig to take into a great depression

ugg how do you even stand living?

How about

we have curbed the terrorists ability to get us
we will stop global warming.. Great britian will be wind power in 10years.. us will follow someway
The dollar will continue to go up and down in cycles. but 20years from now you will be ahead
The economy will most definitely have corrections and recessions but depressions are a thing of the past.

Start living people.

And I'm going to ask you again: in the face of record low interest rates, an already rapidly falling dollar and international scorn, how exactly is an institutionalize move for less demand on the dollar NOT a bad thing. Please, show me this magical chart you're talking about.

Gold is inevitable? How do you figure that?

At some point there will be no next step available to bail out the banks with fiat currency or the people will realize that it is the seed of the problem. They won't continue watching their store of value go to crap.

I don't think anyone said anything of the sort. However, less demand for the dollar will certainly continue to drive its value down in addition to the fact that the fed seems to be keeping rates pretty low to offset this 'housing crisis', I can only think of disadvantages to something like this happening.

Simply shrugging it off and pretending that we're being doomsdayers doesn't negate the fact that the dollar's value will go down, oil will cost us more, which will in turn hurt the economy.

ask all you want
I've looked at the dollar and heard hoards of chicken littles like yourself usc, supercold caller deshtard and the rest of the recessionista's whinning 10 years ago the dollar was to high. When the fed finishes cutting the dollar and the economy will climb. They you retards will whine about something else.
The investor class will just keep buying the best companies.
You want a chart, show me a chart were a recession started after a 5% growth quarter. I won't hold my breath.
