It would take time to count all the 'ultimatums' Trump has given and then not acted on.

And when it comes to war nothing is more devastating than being exposed as making empty threats you won't stand behind.

In WW 2 we, well, nobody, tried to rescue pilots and aircrew shot down in enemy territory on any sort of regular basis. Sure, we and virtually every other nation did try and rescue pilots and aircrew lost in neutral or friendly territory. In fact, the Germans went so far as to put these out in the English Channel and N. Sea for their air crew and both sides used them.

In Korea and Vietnam, we KNEW that the other side wasn't going to treat our air crew properly as POW's so we started making some attempt to rescue them from behind enemy lines.

The one notable rescue was done in Yugoslavia were over 100 US aircrew were with friendly partisan groups. The rescue involved building a temporary airfield and planes flown in to take all of them out of the country in one go.

Not just "attempts". Successful recoveries thus Trump was lying again
 
Scott Ritter on JudgeNap says that the uranium extraction mission never got started because of a combination of using old airfield condition assessments and because the C 130's went in very heavy.

Also says that the missing WO was the on site mission commander.

Do you all realize that if Trump proceeds with his war crimes threat against Iran, that Iran has promised to retaliate against gulf state nations that are allied with America, destroying energy infrastructure in a way that will quite literally make the most of the region UNINHABITABLE? No food, no water, no power, no air conditions. There goes Dubai. There goes UAE. There goes Kuwait. And Saudi Arabia won't fare very well, either.Trump has the world on a suicide trajectory right now, and being led by actual satanists pretending to be Christians, pushing an End Times holy war that's actually a death wish for the world.
