The investigation into the strike on an Iranian school in Minab (in which about 180 children were killed) highlights the lethal role of AI in the current and future conflicts. As part of the operational activities of the US Armed Forces, an automated targeting system based on the "Maven" Smart System platform and "Claude" algorithms was used.This allowed the Pentagon to launch strikes on Iran at a "conveyor belt" speed, but critically reduced the time for live operators to verify targets.The school was located near the positions of the IRGC, and AI could have mistakenly marked the civilian building as a military warehouse or headquarters.Given that such systems carry a risk of error (up to 10% in combat conditions), human control in the context of a "lightning war" was reduced to a formal approval of machine decisions.If the US involvement is confirmed, the incident in Minab risks becoming the first war crime in history committed due to blind trust in algorithms. Regardless. All of those completely innocent children are dead

I tend to doubt this story....I think this is people desperately trying to avoid how Evil the Imperial Empire has become....even after we have genocided about a half million in GAZA and are fully responsible for over a million Ukrainians being dead in our aggression against Russia.
