IRS reportedly planning to revoke Harvard’s tax-exempt status

The Internal Revenue Service is making plans to rescind the tax-exempt status of Harvard University, according to two sources familiar with the matter, which would be an extraordinary step of retaliation as the Trump administration seeks to turn up pressure on the university that has defied its demands to change its hiring and other practices.

A final decision on rescinding the university’s tax exemption is expected soon, the sources said.

The USA has an amazing university system, that is the envy of the world. The rest of the world gives us their best in what is called the brain drain. And they pay us to take their best. The rest of the world has been desperately trying to compete.

And now trump has destroyed it. Many Americans already give a "shit", and when the damage is truly understood, almost every American will give a "shit." trump is turning us into a third world nation. Maybe we will recover, but it will take a long time. Maybe we will not recover.
