Is agnosticism a cop-out?

Can't one simply be too indifferent about a subject
to hold an unprejudiced opinion?

Aren't, for some people, many things too irrelevant
to be contemplated beyond superficial musings at most?

Too many things exist in this,
by my guess,
infinite universe.

We can only be aware of the existence of a tiny number of them

Of that tiny number, the manifestations that we actually care about,
many of them actually just ideas or theories more than physical manifestations,
will likely be another small percentage of the small percentage.

Then, when one gets old and jaded like myself,
many of the things about which one actually once concerned him/herself
suddenly get re-filed into the "I don't give a shit anymore" folder.

Atheism is merely a word I use to describe my observation
that no real tangible evidence of the existence of a supreme being
has ever revealed itself to me,
but countless evidence to contradict that
has indeed revealed itself more than I ever needed to see it.
of course.

atheists are just desperate to claim more support than they actually have.

theism that does not involve gods is already atheistic by definition.
Theism does not require any god or gods. Theism is not atheism. Paradox. Irrational.
you always say church of no god and we understand what you mean,
Having multiple personality problems again?
but that's kind of an ironic and point-making slightly wrong usage of the word.
The Church of No God is four words, NoName.
a church of no god would just be a club or something, or fraternal organization.
It is a fundamentalist style religion. Go learn English.

I've never really engaged "militant atheists."

The ones that I personally know don't really care what other people believe
unless the latter strive to incorporate their beliefs into the laws of the land,
the rules of the club, the operation of the school, the standards of the community, etc.

Unfortunately, that's too often the case, I suppose.
There is no such thing as a 'militant atheist'.
