Is Bill Gates full of shit?

Sounds like he missed his calling... He should have become a liar... err, lawyer, or politician...

Here is the thing....concidering his contribution to society Gates should have never gotten as wealthy as he did,,,,that is the economic system not working well....and letting not particularly smart people like that have as much money as he does in a broken system where anything he wants he can buy compounds the mistake.

He needs a Samoan btcih slap. I remember crashing an apple luau at Hilton Hawaiian village circa 85. Me and my friends showed up with lava lavas on and t leaves no shirts. Just finished surfing. Some haoles in the party said, who are you as we were helping ourselves to food and drinks. Oh we are with the entertainment. Okay.. aloha.. hahahaha yes Blessin’s

What does that have to do with the topic?

His charitable donations are immense.

As far as is possible, I believe the leftists give him a pass despite his great wealth.

Only so long as he sends "Dont Hurt Me!" money in the proper amounts to the proper places.

Still though if he lives long enough it will eventually get to his turn...that is the thing about these Bus Driving to UTOPIA projects...they eventually get to everyone...humans never in the end measure up to UTOPIAN standards..we are after all humans not GODS.

Bill Gates is a good businessman. I can't fault him for that any more than say Carnegie, Rockefeller, or Vanderbilt. Business isn't always about being the smartest but often about being the most aggressive and hungry. Thomas Edison wasn't all that smart either. He was persistent and hired smart people to get things done. The problem today is that the tech giant leadership has become a group of modern day robber barons in their own right.

Bill is like Suckerberg, he cheated and stole ideas and became a billionare.

Lots of people were saying the same thing about Gates 20 years ago, that his MicroSoft was predatory. Gates could give away all of it to the best causes but that does not change that a well functioning economic system would not have allowed Gates to collect as much as he has.

Well, Microsoft did get hit with a anti-trust lawsuit in the early 90's and was about to lose. That's when Gates realized he needed politicians to be properly greased with cubic dollars to keep it from happening. He dumped a huge pile of cash on politicians, the case got a change of venue (eg., new judge) and voilà! Microsoft suddenly wasn't a monopoly!

And Bezos paid attention, that is why he has invested so much time onto Washington, even buying the once really good Washington Post.

Bill Gates, the billionaire left-wing activist wants to save humanity.

He wants to dim the sun.

That’s right, the founder of Microsoft apparently thinks that the sun is the Blue Screen of Death in the sky and is funding research at Harvard University into dimming the sun to cool the earth.

The solar geoengineering project, called Stratospheric Controlled Perturbation Experiment (SCoPEx), will be flying a test balloon above Sweden next year as part of this research.

The plan is to eventually release 2 kg of calcium carbonate dust into the atmosphere in a year or two to study how what impact it may have.

You read that correctly.

They want to put chalk dust in the atmosphere. Are you old enough to have ever cleaned blackboard erasers for your teacher? That nasty cloud of chalk dust you inhaled during that process is what they want to put into the atmosphere.

What could possibly go wrong?

Who would have thought that the answer to “man-made climate change” would be more man-made climate change?

That said, environmentalists aren’t entirely on board. “There is no merit in this test except to enable the next step. You can’t test the trigger of a bomb and say ‘This can’t possibly do any harm’,” said Nicklas Hällström, director of the Swedish green think-tank WhatNext?

Of course, Hällström’s biggest issue with this concept is that he thinks that it will create the impression that we can still use fossil fuels.

There are several problems with this whole thing.

For starters, radical environmentalists can’t seem to decide whether "man-made climate change" is causing the earth to warm or cool.

That’s why what was once referred to as “global warming” is now called by the more vague term “climate change.”

Second, even if you ascribe to the idea that climate change is man-made and not part of a natural cycle, even the most radical of predictions refer to its impact of fractions of a degree over many, many decades.

Dimming the sun would likely have a more dramatic impact on global temperatures.

It is widely believed that the reason why dinosaurs were wiped out was an asteroid impact that released particles into the atmosphere, blocking the sun and causing a dramatic drop in global temperatures.

Is this really something we want to try ourselves?

Third, how would adding particles in the air contribute to the "greenhouse effect:?

Do we really want to find out?

Bill Gates: Dangerous liberal plutocrat with too much time & money on his hands

Hey, he's rich because he was savvy enough to take an already developed product called 86-DOS that an unknown company in Seattle had made and sold it to IBM at a time when IBM wanted a cheap off-the-shelf operating system for their new small computer, the 8088 (aka PC). Ever since he's had a knack for spotting products that are successful and using his cash to buy them up and put the company out of business. Great ideas of his own? Not a fucking chance.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/86-DOS

Same thing Steve Jobs did.

These guys are basically pirates/psychopaths elevated to legendary status.

Remember when Jobs used his massive stolen wealth to essentially buy a human organ to elongate his life?

That's a psychopath at work.
