Leaving aside the obvious problems of his statements (I.E. that guns, a Constitutional RIGHT, are 'unacceptable'), he makes an AWFUL lots of references that seem to indicate that BLACK people with guns are a problem. The way he references black TV shows, black community leaders, etc. It seems to me that Holder wants to keep the population most likely to be victimized by crime disarmed.

This video is from 1995, so at the time he was not the head of the DOJ. And yes, denying a constitutional right to a certain group of people is pretty damned racist, especially when said group is most likely to be victimized and effected by 'gun control' laws.

1. his comment about brainwashing is deeply disturbing.

2. i heard nothing about race. he may have alluded to it with references to certain shows, but, imo, that is not racist. he clearly wants guns restristed for everyone. and he is willing to brainwash people in order to have his belief implemented. pretty twisted and says alot about obama.

Well the idea that carrying guns is wrong has pretty serious unconstitutional connotations wouldn't you say? And we've both argued the race thing, so I don't see a point in us continuing that discussion amongst each other. We'll have to agree to disagree there.

his gun issue is absolutely disturbing. i didn't hear any unconstitutional ideas though. he is a typical liberal. the courts will determine whether his issues are unconstitutional.

why anyone is suprised that someone in the government would be speeching about 'brainwashing' the public in to disliking guns is laughable. governments purpose is to erode and restrict rights and freedoms, notwithstanding the constitutional mandate to protect those rights.
