Is gravy going to get cancelled?

Oh yeah. They are so delicious. They don't make like them Amish do, and I am not talking about just gravy. ;)

For some reason you are not particularly objectionable tonight for a change.

Maybe I am adjusting to not drinking....I do this as little as possible.

It's not you. ;) I just love to joke sometimes. You can blame Uncle Dutch for that. ;)

It might be that I am eating leftover The Best Seafood Stew Of My Life, I made it, it is even better than what I used to get on the wharf in Monterey Ca, that used to be #1.

I am in a great mood.

The point of this thread is this so far as I am concerned....this is what I was thinking....saying this was my intent:

We live in barbaric times full of shit people.

Ever eaten at that Amish restaurant in Indiana? Boy their buffet alone is enough to feed the whole country of Venezuela.

OH I did not say what I meant to say....gal tins of maple syrup....pretty much all we wanted.....that is what I was forged on.

If you insist upon serving me pancake goo it damn well better have 10% Actual Fucking Maple Syrup like the Canadians do it, they would not think of eating goo straight.

Can't disagree there. Although I must confess never tasting the best Maine has to offer. Just jumped straight from the common crap in grocery stores to Canadian.

Here is some awesome news!

WASHINGTON — US maple syrup production increased in 2020 as both the number of taps and the yield per tap rose from 2019, the US Department of Agriculture said in its June 11 Crop Production report.

Maple syrup production was estimated at 4,372,000 gallons in 2020, up 4.6% from a revised 4,180,000 gallons in 2019 and the second highest on record after 4,385,000 gallons in 2017, the USDA said. The number of taps was estimated at 13,510,000, up 0.9% from 2019 but down 2.4% from 2018. Yield per tap averaged 0.324 gallon, up 3.8% from 0.312 gallon in 2019 and up 7% from 2018.

I have heard that especially the Canadians have many warehouses full of maple syrup...like if not a drop was made we would have enough for three years (or something like that) of consumption at the current rates.

I love having a hedge against global warming!

Looks like the Canucks are trying to control the market price of maple syrup. ;)

What they are doing is stockpiling trying to keep the price from crashing from what I have heard. The US #1 and #2 years for production are 2017 and 2020 with me understanding that the Canadians have the same problem, and Americas tend to rather have the goo generally, keeping Maple syrup a deluxe extra price product with such high production rates is a problem. I have heard some people say the almost the same thing about gold, except there the story is the governments have been stockpiling huge stores of gold that has never hit official production accounting....that at some point they will flood the market and crash the price of gold. I am considering getting $10K-$20K in gold coins and stashing them in a safe deposit box as a hedge against hyperinflation, but I just dont know.

What do you think?

Gravy serves a very important function not that the Revolution cares about that as they decide what must be cancelled as they work on their project to get some of us into UTOPIA ( I am not going, by mutual agreement). Potatoes and bread have a high glycemic index, which means that they cause massive sugar spikes. It just so happens that fat flattens the curve. Having gravy to put on my potatoes is thus a matter of my safety.

I demand that gravy not be cancelled!

Every Thanksgiving, I love to pour a lot of brown gravy on mashed potatoes, then I'd mix them with corn, green beans, sweet peas or whatever I like.

Heaven.

Then of course there's deviled eggs.

Perhaps we shouldn't be worried about gravy? Perhaps it's the Thanksgiving Day that we should be worried about being "culturally cancelled"? :whoa:

Have you seen all the stories in the last few years about how disgusting and bad for us the traditional Thanksgiving feast is?

Believe me, they are working on getting rid of Thanksgiving, rebranding it "Indigenous Peoples Day", yet another day to celebrate the Victims, both the Heros and the product of the Victim Culture Cult.

I mean they love it in the south and lets be clear Southern Culture it has been decided must die, it has been big on American tables going all the way back to the olden days, the health minders have never liked it....and now as Mark Stein just said on Tucker, now that the Revolution is trying to cancel the day before yesterday.....Does gravy have to go?

Is it now going to be racist to serve gravy at your table?

WHADDYA THINK?
Why not? McSlobber, TrashCan5 and IQ64 have already declared a healthy diet as being racist. Gravy is obviously rayciss.
