Is honesty an issue in this campaign?

Does the bolded go for Bernie Madoff too?

Turns out he wasn't a businessman....so no. He was just an ordinary fraud like Bill and Hillary whose existence depends on foreign countrys sending them money for the most part...

I actually think it's off the table, which is kind of a sad statement. I mean, if it is a consideration - which candidate has the edge?

Hillary's dishonesty is a politician's dishonesty. It is rooted almost entirely in expediency, and covering for mistakes she has made or other inconvenient truths.

Trump's is certainly more pathological. There was some fact-check recently that had him averaging a lie every 5 minutes. Trump doesn't lie for expediency; he lies because that's basically what he does.

Neither is a great option. Trump's is much scarier to me, but I get that opinions vary.

making sure you trash hilary

Honesty is exampled and realized via RESULTS not RETHORIC. The only relevant question that must be asked.....and if considered honestly, will determine all election results. "Are you better off than you were a few years ago?" Mr. Trump has delivered upon 65% of his campaign promises in less than 2 years, not 8.....that's more than the last 2 presidents combined who had 16 years between them to make the changes THE PEOPLE demanded...neither did. Its THE PEOPLE that will determine whose actions have delivered TRUTH. If you are a leftist or a lying Rhino....you will not vote for the promises kept.....if you are honest, you will vote your conscience, and that's all one can demand in this Republic...may the best (for America) win.

The difference? You did not see Conservative Americans rioting in the streets destroying both public and private property......shouting via la revolution, shooting members of congress, threatening to exile anyone that does not side with from public interaction. Ask yourself.....what do you "really" think is going to happen come Nov.? I wager that it scares the shit out of a great many.

Billionaire. If you think anyone can do that then why doesn't everyone do it ?
Don't have to like him but to pretend he's not accomplished is silly.

You have proof he is a billionaire?
By the way, he inherited 200 million from his father in 1972, and Trump Organization from his mother.

Not exactly rags to riches.

Honesty is clearly was not an issue for Republican Trump supporters.

Trump has simultaneously a high popularity rating among Republicans, AND the highest quotient of lies of any modern president, perhaps more than any other U.S. president.

For instance, after Trump's summit w/ NK / KJU Trump "victoriously" announced the threat from North Korea was over.

Who would be stupid enough to believe that?

America has its own inherent dishonesty which it refuses to deal with so, it all becomes which liar lies less. And the american public fecklessly shuffles along in acceptance, cooperation and participation.

Trump's extensive lack of credibility is widely known, and a topic of consternation among professional journalists.

Trump's racism may not be quite as well known. But ignorance of a fact does not render a fact fiction.

~Thurs. Aug. 25, 2016 on CBS / Stephen Colbert, interview guest and Hillary Clinton VP running-mate Senator Tim Kaine was asked about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's then recent accusation that “Hillary Clinton's a bigot.” Senator Kaine replied:
“When Hillary Clinton got out of law school she was workin' to help advance racial justice in the juvenile justice system in South Carolina, and fight school segregation in Alabama. And I about that time got out of school and was battling housing discrimination in the South, & in Virginia.
At his early career Donald Trump was a real estate guy who got sued by the Justice Department for discriminating against people in housing, writing the letter “C” on applications if they were minority. Umm, he ... Hillary Clinton's got a track-record all the way back to being a middle-schooler in a Methodist youth group of trying to advance priorities for others. And Donald Trump's for himself.” [& has said so explicitly]
Senator (and 2016 Democrat VP candidate) Tim Kaine

Clinton's dissembling on her Email explanations falls apart. Then she makes a new stance, and that falls apart too. etc.
At some point extensive dissembling becomes lying -but her supporters always find more ways to accommodate her.

Trump is so bombastic it's hard enough figuring out what he is trying to say..then he'll go back and adjust.
Is that the same/worse/as known prevarications?

What a gawd awful bunch to choose from

Odd how folks will just waddle along behind a concept like "the lesser of two evils". Ya still wind up voting for evil.

And the ostensibly superior alternative which you have not mentioned, but imply you have in mind is ...?

In truth, honesty is an issue for the liberal progressive left and the FAKE media. I'm amazed you can't see this.

Sorry, your view is quite short term. Humanity will evolve toward something that replaces this nonsense. For now? Non-cooperation, non-participation, call out the lie, call out the illusion, we all know this thing is unraveling.

Sorry, your view seems quite short term and limited in thinking to what the power structure "informs" us as to what our options as human beings are. Humanity will evolve toward something that replaces this nonsense. For now? Non-cooperation, non-participation, call out the lie, call out the illusion, we all know this thing is unraveling.
