Is it crazy to distrust the official 911 story?

Thanks, very informative and interesting. I don't know what the real truth is, but I have never trusted the official explanations! I don't trust this administration to tell us the truth about anything!
 
It's mindboggling crazy to believe the official 9/11 story, but psychologically explained by cognitive dissonance. Without the cover of cognitive dissonance, it would be mindboggling stupid to believe it.

I cannot wrap my brain around how leftists can support overwhelming scientific consensus on issues such as global warming, but on issues such as 9/11 they are more willing to agree with a couple of fringe crazies....you can't pick and choose which science you believe.
 
Considering the many lies our govt. has told us over the years (gulf of Tonkin, Hiroshima, Waco incident probably, etc, etc, etc), no I don't think it is crazy to question.

I personally do believe the official story though. Except I think that Bush and company have always tried to distance themselves from failing to stop it even though there were many signs that it was going to happen.

Not by Bushco. I don't believe the controlled implosion theory, or the missile/pentagon theory. But I do believe that we have been sold a bill of goods, and are far, far away from knowing what really happened.
 
The funniest part of conspiracy theories like this is that you people simultaneously believe the administration to be the nation's most incompetent and able to pull off feats such as the "real" 9/11 story.

You have to decide whether Bush and co. are stupid and incompetent or evil overlords, because I assure you that they cannot be both.

EDIT: And Desh, the first clue that the opinion might be fringe is that it comes from a fucking blog.

Perhaps you're right and I am crazy, but I doubt it.

I don't have the ability to make myself believe that a scientific and engineering anomaly that has never happened before .. in the history of fires, buildings, or Man .. happened three times on the same day to buildings of different structures and with dramatically different types of damage. I'm sorry, but I don't have what it takes to make myself believe that bullshit.

And that's just one of about a thousand things wrong with the fairy-tale of 9/11.

No need to get into the plethora of things wrong with the Hollywood version of 9/11. I'm well aware that you'll believe whatever you're told.

Let me guess .. you thought Saddam had WMD, huh?

Ah, insulting my intelligence is a great tactic for people without arguments. I have no idea whether he had WMDs or not-- I've never been to Iraq, nor was I very close to Saddam...however, from the information I have seen, he did not.

As far as 9/11 goes, is it really that hard to believe that a burning building (and not just a regular fire, but the fire from jet fuel) can collapse? Really?

It's basically kerosene. .. That's a clue, but if you can't figure it out .. don't worry about it.

Here's a tip for the next time you have a conversation about 9/11 .. never let on that you don't know that buildings don't melt, nor do they collapse from fire .. EVER.

Do I think there is some cover-up? Heck yeah. Do I think that they took down even one of those buildings themselves? Heck no.

Perhaps I missed it because I would love to see any evidence that disputes the FACT that no multi-storied steel frame building has ever collapsed from fire.
