Is it time to remove the Pardon Power from the Executive Branch?

Methinks the Founding Father's never dreamed that the Pardon Power would be used/abused by a president to keep him in power. But now that we've seen how a narcissistic autocrat could abuse the power to work to his advantage, maybe it's time to purge this archaic rule.
Leave the Pardon Power to the governors. Leave it out of the White House. What good is it at the federal level? It only encourages nefarious behavior.

I agree, Trump abused the pardon power while in office?!! And if he is elected as president again, he will pardon all that Jan 6th filth and his cronies too?!! Trump also pardon murders, as in the the blackwater scum?!!
 
The pardoning power was supposed to right wrongs done by courts and justice. People who got life sentences for weed. People made unfair examples of. He did many to cover up his part in the crimes. The farmers did not expect us to elect an unprincipled crook. They did not expect a prez to abuse the massive powers of the office for his own benefit.

So does that mean you're for or against purging the Pardon Power?
State governors can right the wrongs done by courts.
