The Almighty
Yeah I know But it tastes way better than wine.
lol... to each their own... but the carbonation ruins the flavor in my opinion. Sparkling wine is just a notch above Boones Farm and Mad Dog 20/20.

This is why we just don't get along. Well, besides the fact that you are big, ugly, and stupid. Wine sucks and wine drinkers are posers. Champagne is the drink of gods but only on days they are tired of tequila
If it is good tequila you can keep the champagne. Top quality tequila is a drink fit for the gods. But then so is good irish whiskey or single malt scotch. Which is why I have my whiskey stones. The last thing a good whiskey or scotch needs is ice melting in it.
Good champagne is delicious. Cheap champagne is bubbly crap, the same as cheap wine.

Ha... there are many different wine glasses too... The whites tend to be narrower as they warm at a slower pace that way due to less exposure to the warmer air. Reds typically are wider glasses so the wine can breathe more. Champagne sucks ass.
Yeah.....nothing tastes better than cool water in a crystal goblet........................lmao
Seriously. What the fuck? "Artisinal Ice?"
http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/...n-ice-the-final-frontier-for-craft-cocktails/
Yes it is wrong of you. Ultral pure ice, or, artisinal ice, as they are calling it, has a very pleasing ascetic affect in a coctail. For example, if you place a couple of pieces of this ice in a bar glass and pour two fingers of a fine whisky over it, not only will the ice have a very appealing luminescent and transparent look. Not only that but when you pour the whisky or cocktail over the ice, you'll hear a very resonant "clink" sound while the ice cracks into concentric circles. This isn't possible in impure ice as the air bubbles deflect the cracks and prevent them from growing to any signifcant size. So all in all the artisinal ice adds a nice ascetic value to a fine glass of whisky....that is unless your a fanatic for drinking your neat.

Well you're right, that's pretentious, but that's because the dickhead didn't understand the real reason for using ultra pure ice in cocktails. It simply makes for a very nice presentation. The whole idea of "Artisinal Ice" just blows my mind. I mean, Yeah Capitalism! and everything and I like a good ice cube as much as the next guy, but let's get real. The pretentiousness is a tad much. It's ice. I guess this part is what really got to me:
Eat shit "cocktail innovator" Juan Coronado.
Ironic that you would say that. I was taught this about the ultra pure ice by my brother who was the Hospitality Director at the Ritz Carlton in Naples, FL. He showed it to me when I was visiting. He frooze some DI Water in an old fashioned ice cube tray. He placed two cubes in a bar glass and poured some fine Scotch over them and it made for a very pleasing presentation. The way the ice goes "clink" and instantly cracks into concentric circles was way cool.Pardon us while you play the grand piano!
I read Rod Stewart's biography recently, and he asserted that you can get drunk off of one beer if you drink it in from a shotglass, one shot after the other in rapid succession.
I've been meaning to try that.
No, it was an 8oz rocks glass with the 1/24 Marines logo on it (the group that benefited from the event). We only got 2oz-ish pours.
Patricians are few and far between anywhere you go. But this was in Sterling Heights.
Bullshit. You brought your own little glass and I bet you wore it around your neck on a goddamned lanyard.
You sound jealous of my excellent glassware collection.
Yeah, because, like, I'm dying for a little 2 ounce glass on a string.

The reason I said that's ironic was when my brother served the scotch he set were seated by his bar right next to his baby grand piano!
There are some very good quality wines that are inexpensive, good wine isn't dictated by price. My son and I have a contest to find the best wine at bargain prices.
I agree and stand corrected. I should have said crap wine.
One of my fav white wines is Kendall Jackson's Sauvignon Blanc. Its about $12 a bottle and tastes as good or better than plenty of $30 or $40 wines.
