Is MSNBC folliowing my posts here?

I think perhaps they are catering to their key demographic, which is basically YOU! They can't afford to lose their last viewer, so they are going to tell you whatever you want to hear. I wouldn't read much into that, but I understand how it would make someone like you feel important.

For the record, I don't think the VP pick will be Rubio this time. I know you don't value MY opinion like you do MSNBC or CBS, but that's what I think. Reason being, Rubio has a very legitimate shot at being president in 2016 or 2020, and that chance would be diminished if he should lose as a VP candidate in 2012. I believe if Romney should win, Rubio will get a cabinet position, and that would be his 'foot in the door' to national politics.
 
There is a difference between deliberately promoting something untrue about a religion and saying that some people believe something untrue about a religion. It's the difference between being in the group that people label as bigots and pointing out that some bigots exist but not being among the group.

Once you continue to promote something that is not true, but you want people to believe, about any group even after you have knowledge to the contrary, then you are deliberate in your attempt to negatively stereotype a group.

You are at that point, in fact, a bigot. Even if you pretend you have "friends" that just happened to have been over the weekend before you read the article that just happened to talk about that falsehood over dinner....
 
Likewise, if you repeat rumors about so called 'scandals' then fail to produce any evidence of an actual scandal, are then shown that they are not accurate, yet you repeat them again and again... you are a liar. Just because a couple left wing nut media outlets toss out the same bullshit, doesn't change the fact that it is bullshit.

I have never insisted that what I heard from my mormon friends is true. Once what I thought was fact was questioned, I revealed my source and left it at that. I do not know who is correct, my friends or the cites Damocles provided. I dont even consider it necessarly a negative for a religen to continue to consider you a member even if you no longer do. That to me is neutral, neither negative or posative. Additionally I never promoted the belife I had, I simply stated it as ONE of the reasons I did not belive Rubio would be considered the VP choice. On this board, Rubio has already become the Palin of this election, if you say anything negative about him you are struck with a barrage of insults and attacks that are not based on logic.

BTW, I have a rotating dinner with this family once a month, there house, then out to eat, then my house.
