"The problem is that the crisis fits into his preexisting and deeply held worldview—that the media is always searching for a story to bring him down. Covid-19 is merely the latest instance, and he’s reacting in familiar ways. “So much FAKE NEWS!” Trump tweeted this morning. “He wants Justice to open investigations of the media for market manipulation,” a source close to the White House told me. "
Again, using an American agency as his own personal cop shop. I have no doubt that if he could suspend the first amendment, he'd do it in a New York minute.
Can you imagine where we would be if this embicile hadn't inherited Obama's great economy? Scary to think about.
For real. And still the dwindling but still loud merry band of Trumpanzees sees nothing wrong with him.
You've gotta love "Vanity Fair", thoughGermaphobe? I thought he had Russian prostitutes pissing on him. Which is it?

I am not a "groupish" person by nature. I prefer individual sports instead of the team version. That said, it is simply mind boggling to me that folks would become so "idolized" by another person that they develop into "cults". Are their individual lives so empty that this type of hero-worship is all that they have?
It's terrifying. Not just to the rest of us who are inflicted with this hot mess of an IMPOTUS, but that it's possible for one individual to so influence others that they essentially become mindless zombies.
Hello ThatOwlWoman,
IMPOTUS has no rallies scheduled.
Maybe he is afraid his flock might be imperiled?
Or is he just afraid for himself...
Hahaha -- hilarious. I'm sure the sagging ego will require a boost by and by. If the lack of rallies is because he's concerned about COVID-19, it's not for the sake of his worshipers; it's his own flabby ass he's worried about.
Is the "Germophobe" POTUS having a Corona "meltdown"?

This is Trump's "leadership" moment, and he is failing miserably.
Flailing around, rage tweeting, casting blame on others, imagining conspiracy theories.
What we need is a leader who is calm, cool, collected, does not freak out, and facilitates the collective actions and advice of the nation's best scientific and health experts. Come to think of it, Trump needs to act more like President Obama.
Well, that will never happen. *sigh*
You're right. This is a time when the POTUS should be calmly reassuring everyone that panic isn't necessary. He should be on hand to visit with recovered victims, rather than insisting that he doesn't want those cruise ship ppl on American shores because they'll fuck up his "numbers." But no -- let's have a tax cut! *That* will make everyone forget the coronavirus!
Hello ThatOwlWoman,
Calm reassurance from a racist liar?
I'm surprised he isn't out there blaming immigrants and claiming the wall will stop the virus so we have to build it faster.
