Is the Universe a quantum fluctuation?

I don't know if that is actually technically correct. He won his Nobel related to the Photoelectric Effect which helped establish quantum states, not necessarily wave-particle duality. His finding lead to the development of wave-particle duality as a concept, but if I am recalling correctly his was more related to the discrete energy levels (quanta).

"It was Albert Einstein who suggested that light did not behave exactly a wave or a particle. Instead, light behaves as both wave and particle. Einstein’s theory became known as the wave-particle duality of light, and is now fully accepted by modern scientists."

We’ll work on your communication skills and maybe you can get to a level to debate me

If you work hard enough you can do anything

When Cypress can't stand the heat of Debate he blocks you!
That being said I have Dutch blocked because he Doesn't debate,he baits you for a reaction!
Cypress is a seeker of knowledge, but shy's away from things that make him uncomfortable.

Since you appear know almost nothing about the career and influence of Albert Einstein, I'll invest the time to dispel your ignorance

You claimed he got lucky and was known for only one thing.

He won a Nobel for demonstrating wave-particle duality.

He basically proved that atoms actually exist

He completely changed how we think about time and space, showing they are not uniform.

He showed that mass and energy are interchangeable

He completely changed our ideas about gravity and what causes it.

Any one of those accomplishments alone would have launched a physicist into the top tier of science

Obama won a Nobel also lol

And his theory on wave particle duality is an extreme oversimplification of what actually happens

He basically just outlines the process but never actually explains how it works

The irony is that Einstein was a pioneer in what later came to be called quantum physics, but he became reticent to buy into the ideas of Bohr and Shroedinger.

"Einstein won the Nobel prize for this idea (his paper on the photo electric effect). He essentially suggested what we now call the wave-particle duality of light, showing that light can be both particle and wave and will manifest differently depending on the circumstance.

Einstein's Brownian motion paper was a confirmation of atomic motion
It most certainly was not any sort of confirmation. Nothing is ever confirmed or "verified" in science. The paper On the Movement of Small Particles Suspended in a Stationary Liquid Demanded by the Molecular-Kinetic Theory of Heat merely theorized about Dalton's models. Jean-Baptiste Perrin tested Einstein's theories, failed to falsify them and garnered the Nobel prize for his work.

Well you are obviously extremely intelligent so I am sure you’ve studied his work on the general relativity theory which encompasses far more then just his famous equation

However since some people here might be interested in this but don’t know his work I am going to generalize

Einstein believed the universe was static and unchanging even though his equations were telling him different so he looked into it and couldn’t figure it out and this would ultimately lead to the birth of quantum physics

But these unknown variables threatened his theory of relativity so he came up with a new equation called the cosmological constant which simply says that there is a form of dark energy out there that would account for the flaws in his equation’s

He essentially just made this up on the spot with no proof whatsoever

Shortly after he published the theory of relativity the Shroedinger cat lesson came out which essentially says that if you put a cat in a box and put something in there to kill it that the cat is not alive or dead until you open the box and observe it

Einstein hated this lesson and went out of his way to debunk it because it showed that things happen in the universe that have no explanation and that negates most of his theories on relativity

I’m fact, most of Einsteins theories have been proven wrong and all he really ever did was produce one little mathematical equation

He was however a great self promoter and loved the fame he received but it is rumored that he didn’t even come up with that equation but that his wife did who was a schooled mathematician herself

Is this Tinkerpeach's version of "Drunk History?"

This is because there really isn't any such thing as "quantum physics." There is "quantum mechanics" and it is math, not physics. Quantum mechanics has no ability to predict, only to identify probabilities. Casinos use the same mechanics to determine the odds/payouts of their games. However, this is all that is available for discussion of the quantum world.

You know almost nothing about science.

You've got to be kidding me.

But these unknown variables threatened his theory of relativity
1. Nothing threatened Relativity
2. If something had threatened Relativity, Einstein would have altered Relativity to account for the new information.

so he came up with a new equation called the cosmological constant which simply says that there is a form of dark energy out there that would account for the flaws in his equation’s. He essentially just made this up on the spot with no proof whatsoever
Let me explain to you how it works.

1. A constant is not an equation, it is a constant. This means it is a numerical value that does not change. Pi is an example of a constant; its value is 3.14159... and never changes.
2. Constants are not arbitrary and are not "made up on the spot." Constants are "factored out" of other combined values.
3. Einstein never mentioned "dark matter." The concept came about well after his death.
4. There were no flaws in Einstein's equations, at least none that anyone has yet discovered
5. No proof is needed for any science theory to come into existence. Once a science theory exists, others try to disprove it.

Shortly after he published the theory of relativity the Shroedinger cat lesson came out which essentially says that if you put a cat in a box and put something in there to kill it that the cat is not alive or dead until you open the box and observe it
... which is a really crappy explanation of the subject matter.

Einstein hated this lesson and went out of his way to debunk it
Incorrect. Einstein simply noted that quantum mechanics isn't physics; it's math. It bothered Einstein that QM did not describe an underlying object-oriented (my wording) reality and that merely reducing nature to a series of probabilities was silly.

I’m fact, most of Einsteins theories have been proven wrong
You're not the first fundamentalist "out there" Christian to make this claim. Would you mind elaborating on why/how you came to believe this? I would appreciate it greatly. You didn't arrive at this conclusion by running a demonstration that falsifies any of Einstein's science because nobody has ... yet you vehemently insist that this has happened. Why?

and all he really ever did was produce one little mathematical equation
He did a lot more than that ... although any one of his "equations" is a lot.

it is rumored that he didn’t even come up with that equation but that his wife did who was a schooled mathematician herself
... and you know the rule, just because it's a rumor doesn't mean that it isn't true.

duhhh quantum mechanics is not physics duhhhhhhh
Correct. Quantum mechanics is math. You would do right by yourself to learn something about both science and math instead of remaining relegated to ignorant raving on either/both.

You are a fucking moron.
