Has the Bush depression bottomed out?

We have a steep mountain to climb and we started in a very deep valley.

The worst may be behind us. Today, we're pointed in the right direction.

We're losing jobs at less than half the rate we were when President Obama took office.

We've pulled the financial system back from the brink and the rising market is restoring value to 401Ks that are the foundation of a secure retirement.

As we begin to put an end to this recession, we have to consider what comes next.

We cannot turn back to the failed policies of the past, nor can we stand still.

hahahahahaha...we haven't even seen anything YET.

YEAH!!!

Now that the unemployment numbers are down and the economy is rebounding, all thanks to PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, you won't believe what ridiculous lengths the Right will go to do destroy the man!

It will certainly provide many hearty guffaws from those of us who voted for him.

How embarassing - to openly root against the economy for partisan reasons.

That's pretty bad.

And too bad for you to have to try to spin good #'s that are coming out, and will hopefully continue to come out...

look Mr, spreader of Bs, anyone with any sense knows whats coming at us from all this spending that your party is doing..so don't act all high and mighty.
what's embarrassing, is you and your Dear leader, lying to the American people about it.

Nah - it's sad. The economy gets some unexpected good news today, and all you can do is spin it negatively & hope for worse.

You always make a big deal about who the "Americans" are. Americans I know don't celebrate the economic downfall of their neighbors.

like obama's chief of staff rahm emanuel saying:

You never want a serious crisis to go to waste," Rahm Emanuel, Mr. Obama's new chief of staff, told a Wall Street Journal conference of top corporate chief executives this week.

He elaborated: "Things that we had postponed for too long, that were long-term, are now immediate and must be dealt with. This crisis provides the opportunity for us to do things that you could not do before."

800,000 were dropped from the labor report that had given up looking for jobs and were very discouraged. We are going to have a jobless recovery? Yeah, right.

did I hear right, over 2 million have lost their job so far? I thought I heard that somewhere..

247,000 lost jobs last month. Ask them about obama's econonmic recovery.

Ask the 100,000 more who were supposed to lose their jobs according to forecasters.

Can't anyone be a little pleased about better-than-expected news? Not everything is blame or credit. The economy was in the tank earlier this year, and people were talking about double digit unemployment, a market in the 6K range and no recovery until 2010 at the earliest.

This was good news today. I don't care if people give Obama credit, or if it's not enough of a turnaround for them. Tops, I'm surprised at you; you understand economics better than that. No one expected this economy to turn on a dime, and the news today & this past month is much better than where most expected us to be now...

And more people than that got jobs. Ask them about obama's economic recovery.

?

this is exactly why i made the thread in the APP forum....because this stuff gets spread across a multitude of forums/threads....

why don't you wander up to the APP section and discuss this in the blame economy thread.....i'd like to see your facts and figures

Didn't the unemployment rate go down this month? I'm not interested enough to debate the economy.
