When I exercise my Constitutional right and buy a gun they demand a photo ID. When people fly they demand photo ID. Would you feel comfortable flying if all they did to verify who you and everyone else on the plane by 2 second signature verification? When millions and millions of people are voting in a few hours time exactly how much time do these "experts" spend on each signature? Do you think it would be easier to verify a state issued photo ID than a signature?

I have seen cardiologists argue for hours over EKG tracings with multiple ideas on what they mean and they have received years of training on how to identify them. An election workers with a few hours of training and a couple of seconds to look at a signature is bound to have a very high error rate.

I have written thousands of prescriptions with my signature on them it would not be difficult to forge my name. I have had pharmacists take prescriptions with my forged name on them before. And those pharmacists KNEW ME. I had a patient steal one of my prescription pads and he wrote several forged prescriptions for Vicodin. What caught him was not the signature. He got caught because he got greedy and wrote scrips for 160 Vicodin amounts with refills . Nobody writes for that kind of quantity of a controlled substance.

I'm sure you have signed hundreds of documents with your name that are easily available too.

Sure a few could get away with that, never enough to make any significant difference, and much less than legitimate voters who would be disenfranchised.

THat might happen a small handful of times, but 1) someone would be prosecuted and 2) if it happened on a large enough scale to ever matter, it would be a huge scandal. Both parties have poll watchers who would know for sure it happened.

Yes and those registration need to be purged regularly for people that move or die. Some states do it better than other. So states were sending multiple mail in ballots to the same apartments because people generally do not change their voter registration when the change their apartment. Mail in ballots should be requested and not just blanket mailed to every registered voter.

Yep the fact that there is not a lot of evidence of fraud does not mean it has not happened. We don't know if Nancy Guthrie is dead but ....
