California has spent about 20 times as much money on high speed fail that likely will never get completed as they have on solving their water shortage problem. Building bigger reservoirs and canals to move water from northern to southern California would benefit tens of millions of average citizens. Building lots of high speed fail benefits tens of politicians. Which do you think politicians are going to do?
