1) What Strawman did I state? If the life of the mother is not at stake, then it is a matter of convenience... not necessity. Regardless of how easy/hard her decision might be.

4) Limit care? It is under Obama that care will be eliminated because he refuses to address the fiscal problems that the programs face. 5) yes, according to the current version of the plan, they will have a choice between Medicare as we know it OR they will be able to use a voucher for a cheaper plan that covers the same things as Medicare.

6) You didn't say that... But when someone says 'we should focus on getting them all ID's as they need it for jobs and everyday life etc...' and then you say 'we don't need no Jim Crow laws'... you appear to be missing the point that was made.

But the voucher programs are used by charter schools. The thing is, he has not shown why they are bad for LA. All his article showed is that the teachers union's lawyers tried to intimidate the charter schools.

The report cited a study from the Brookings Institution, an non-partisan organization that has been described as everything from liberal to centrist to conservative by various newspapers and magazines, showing evidence that students who have 3-4 highly effective teachers in a row will exceed academically, while those with a sequence of non-effective teachers will fall further behind.

Can't help but notice the major complaint about the voucher system is that a minority of schools (19) will teach creationism instead of evolution. While I think this is beyond absurd, it does not explain why this somehow makes the public schools worse.
exactly... we need to get rid of those non-effective teachers and replace them.... but we can't...
