Is this the party you want vote for?

**facepalm** there is a definite lack of reading ability on this forum.

Show me where I said that.

1) What Strawman did I state? If the life of the mother is not at stake, then it is a matter of convenience... not necessity. Regardless of how easy/hard her decision might be.

2) LMAO... people exist on life support that are not brain dead. But according to you, they are no longer human if they are being supported by artificial means.

3) No, you have not. You just keep repeating that you have answered it. Again, it doesn't change the fact that we spend more on education per capita yet get far inferior results.

4) Limit care? It is under Obama that care will be eliminated because he refuses to address the fiscal problems that the programs face. Instead he decides to expand the promises while doing little to address the costs. You continue creating one straw man after another rather than addressing what I actually state. Why is that?

5) yes, according to the current version of the plan, they will have a choice between Medicare as we know it OR they will be able to use a voucher for a cheaper plan that covers the same things as Medicare.

6) You didn't say that... But when someone says 'we should focus on getting them all ID's as they need it for jobs and everyday life etc...' and then you say 'we don't need no Jim Crow laws'... you appear to be missing the point that was made.

And vouchers and charter schools aren't even the same thing.

But the voucher programs are used by charter schools. The thing is, he has not shown why they are bad for LA. All his article showed is that the teachers union's lawyers tried to intimidate the charter schools.

Seriously? Just research their school systems!

This was Howey's comment. Maybe you can answer the question for him since he's not able to.

"The original purpose of charter schools was commendable. Once the republicans got their hands on the idea, they fucked it up royal. Ask Louisiana."

You are cranky today, go have a drink!

Instead of groaning me why don't you answer the question Howey?

because he cannot. He doesn't have an answer so he will continue to groan people.

Now rana is attacking you rather than addressing the situation.

This should tell you that they don't have a valid answer.

Various studies show that spending more on education doesn't necessarily improve scores. Even though the United States is the clear leader in total annual education spending and spending per-capita, it ranks 9 out of 12 in science against the top leading countries, and 10 out of 12 in math. After adjusting for inflation, the per-student cost of education spending has nearly tripled in the last four decades, while student achievement has plateaued.

A point many on the left ignore...

The report cited a study from the Brookings Institution, an non-partisan organization that has been described as everything from liberal to centrist to conservative by various newspapers and magazines, showing evidence that students who have 3-4 highly effective teachers in a row will exceed academically, while those with a sequence of non-effective teachers will fall further behind.

Can't help but notice the major complaint about the voucher system is that a minority of schools (19) will teach creationism instead of evolution. While I think this is beyond absurd, it does not explain why this somehow makes the public schools worse.
exactly... we need to get rid of those non-effective teachers and replace them.... but we can't...
