It's a mistake to underestimate the left based on the grounds that they don't own guns. Trustafarians and fudds are well armed and the end would justify the means for even the grabbiest of gun grabbers.

Meh, I just don’t see it happening.

People don’t have the stomach for it. This is war we’re talking about. The first cell tower that gets knocked out will have people saying ‘screw this’ and they’d call the whole thing off lol.

Besides, the elephant in the room is the military and national guardsmen. They would shut it down in short order.

I agree that most don't have the stomach for it, especially when met with resistance. I also don't think you'd see much more than sporadic violent outbursts rather than all out organized warfare due to political demographics, which would be easy to put down quickly.

Pretty much.

We could be on the verge of significant unrest. Though I tend to think we’re in the midst of a political reformation of sorts and I think it’s been long overdue.

Do you go to gun shows and ask for people's voter registration cards?

I went to a gun show once. It was boring, except for the instance where one of the armed sheriff's deputies took one guy's rifle away and escorted him outside. No clue why. I made one purchase. Found a cool little brush with a twisted wire handle that's just perfect for cleaning out hummingbird feeders.
