They seem to use trump as a weird sort of father figure, and claim they too deserve respect as a father. I could see some of them as family annihilators rather than letting their families live without the fathers.

In American men, dementia is often accompanied by paranoia and that creates fear. Fear, in American men, often results in anger and hatred. The cure for fear is training and knowledge. Since most MAGAts are poorly educated, anger and hatred is a common JPP MAGAt trait in response to fear.
