Is Yurt actually TWO people???

I keep reading Yurt's posts, one minute, he sounds like a normal right-winger, making good conservative points, and a few posts later, he sounds like a flaming bleeding-heart liberal. I have been perplexed by this, it's like that Batman character, "Two-Face" ...you can't ever tell which Yurt you'll get!

I think Yurt might actually be a shared username... some wacky couple like Mary Madaline and James Carville, taking turns at the keyboard posting! I really wish the conservative Yurt would tell the liberal Yurt to make their own username, it's really confusing trying to figure out which one you're talking to!

You're confused because Yurt is actually a Libertarian.

lol...zomg...yurt is not a march lockstep dixie gop'r and that must mean he is two people...

i don't know about libertarian, but i guess my views do tend to swing that way...

shame on yurt for having his own opinion

*thump thump* *thump thump*

That sound, in the center of your chest
*thump thump*
It's your heart Yurt
*thump thump*
Pumping, always pumping.
*thump thump*
Rich, deep, life giving Libertarian blood.

You know this to be true.

i might lean libertarian, but i don't fully support their platform, nor do i fully support any party's platform...i usually end up voting conservative, but have voted liberal

I am not a march in lockstep GOP'r either.. most of my personal (social) views are moderate to libertarian in nature, but I am a devoutly fiscal conservative.

You're either two different people, or you have some fucked up mental disorder.

what the fuck are yhou babbling about...my opinions are almost always consistent and very few change and that is only after careful reflection, just because you don't agree with me on this issue or that issue but then agree with me on other issues doesn't mean i'm two people

you would have a point if one day i said: i support gay marriage, then the next day i said i didn't....

you're just being stupid and showing how much crack has damaged your thinking

I think you are two people. Not you personally, you are just one person, but someone else posts under your name, who doesn't share your political views. Too much you post just completely contradicts itself down the road. I can be having an argument with a pinhead, and you chime in to make a valid and legitimate point, to which I agree with you, only to have you come back with some smart-ass retort of my agreement! It makes no sense! If you're not two people, you need to go have a mental evaluation, because you're really fucked up.

Yes, I quit. Soros has a new candidate and I've been offered a considerable sum to step down. Sorry Yurtle the turtle (or whatever other lovey dovey nicknames my pets legion troll, onceler, et al have for you), money talks and my bs is walking.

All the best,

Former President of the United States
Barry "I'm awesome blossom" Obama

Hi Mr. President,

You don't know me, but I have been totally dismayed at the level of spin generated by your resignation letter to the APS. There have been many that have displayed an extraordinary ageism in response to your letter. Can I humbly ask you to confirm that your resignation was sincere, heartfelt and not sent by somebody else. Please be assured that my intentions are not malevolent but from somebody not on your side.

Yes it is Tom, that's what I'm talking about... one minute, he talks like he has sense, the next minute, he's completely off the reservation.

Tom is an example of someone I routinely disagree with on most things, but not all things. We agree on the AGW thing.. but that remains consistent, I don't have to worry that tomorrow, Tom will be chastising me for pointing out how stupid the warmers are!

What disturbs me most is when people try to employ emotion rather than dispassionate analysis when discussing AGW. Unfortunately ego, money especially money, sentiment and scaremongering get in the way, nothing new of course. The biggest problem I have is that huge amounts of resources are being diverted to spurious solutions such as wind turbines which are an unreliable source of energy. Very rarely is it pointed out that to provide a consistent baseload, more conventional forms of energy production are still needed to offset the windless days.

I can't answer for him but I guess he will say it is humourous, I will leave others to judge.
