Its a simple matter.........true Christian Doctrine comes from the word of God....i.e., the Holy Scriptures. The Roman Catholic Church was responsible for the crusades and the Spanish Inquisitions. Show us the actual content of the word of God that supports such violence.

But none can be made superior or inferior to the next. Just like the religion of secular humanism cannot be superior or inferior to all types of religion as FREE EXERCISE is guaranteed.

They're all Abrahamic, bonehead. Hashem, God and Allah are all the same entity, with basically the same core values. Islam is new to the club though. They're about where the Christians were when they decided it would be a good thing to go on a series of crusades to claim Jerusalem for the glory of Jesus. I'm pretty sure Jesus never whispered in anyone's ear suggesting they kill all the muslims in Jerusalem, just as I'm pretty sure Allah didn't tell Muhammad to slaughter Jews, gentiles and other "idolaters". I don't agree that it is a "great" religion, but I understand the diplomatic reasons for saying so. Unfortunately, I think islam needs a few more centuries to cool off and not take itself so seriously.
