Israel invades Gaza

I think they are pushing to do what they know will be much harder to get past this new US president.

They have to start the mess before jan 20th.
 
The Israeli general election is on February 10th.

The governing coalition were going to lose. Now they are going to win.

Ironically, the best chance of a peace deal is by reelecting this current crop of bastards rather than the other crop of right-wing bastards.

Yes, I think you are right. I think this has less to do with the unknown that Obama represents, and much more to do with the same thing that decides life and death in the U.S.; elections.

Could you imagine to be the kind of person who could look at pictures of wounded children screaming, and keep this up, to win an election? These are the monsters who we end up putting in offices all over the world. They aren't even people.

You know I have a cousin who has taken to talking like this. It freaked me out when I saw him over the holidays. I actually starting getting paranoid wondering, could he be asshat?

Can you guys imagine my life, I have two brothers who voted for John McCain and a cousin who sounds like asshat?

I think it has EVERYTHING to do with daily rocket attacks on Israel from the Palestinians. Can any of you even imagine the public sentiment if Cuba was firing rockets into Florida daily?

Do you believe that a President Obama would not allow the Israel to defend itself and therefore believe in the annihilation of the Jewish state? Candidate Obama said last summer that if somebody was lobbing rockets where his children were sleeping, he would do whatever was necessary to stop it.

What do you think he would do if "somebody" blockaded his neighborhood preventing food, medicine and water from reaching his children?
