Israeli forces shell UN headquarters in Gaza

Almost all "evangelicals" are. They are looking for the return of Christ to rule from over there (Jerusalem). You couple that with the devout Muslim who believes that Mohommed will retrun and rule from the same place then you see the conflict of interests that develop. It is truly sad stuff.

It seems that every generation has expected/wanted the end to come during their lifetime. Fear of death I assume, which you should not fear if you are a true believing Christian.

I'm not a Christian, but I can understand people fearing what type of death they will have regardless of belief.

I always hope it will either be instant or in my sleep. I know that there is little chance of that though and it will likely be an uncomfortable experience.

Embrace the nothingness

No. That's just you you selfish prick, if you're dying soon, everyone has to.:)

BTW I saw the Joo leader last night on PBS say that rockets were being fired at Israel from the UN compound?

If you look hard enough, you can find someone who will say anything. Sometimes it's John Cusack.

When it came for me I just dropped dead. No memory of the moments before, no warning it was coming. One moment I was alive, the next moment I was dead.

Fortunately for me, Tupac knew I was going to drop dead, and when I did, he went and got me some help.

Thank God it was Tupac. If it were Biggie then i fear help may have been a little longer in coming. ;)

Is it possible that the US didn't actually try to bomb the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, or do you think that Clinton ordered that one?

I think it is entirely possible they were after a different, although nearby, target.

Although it is very ironic, and I hope nobody was seriously hurt, I'm not ready to believe that Israel actually tried to kill refugees at the UN compound.

Of course not. You're too personally interested in the war machine to believe the truth.

How dare I blame jews for their zionist killing spree. Grow up, damo.
I never suggested that at all, and the attempt to paint me with such an opinion is a sign of a weak position in your argument.

I suggested that this particular action may not have been an act of purposeful evil. I find it doubtful they would find it useful in their attempt to take a "moral high ground" to kill as many people as possible in a UN compound and therefore find it unlikely that it was their intent to do so. Even a person who thinks all Jews are evilly plotting to make them worship Yahweh because they think all people are descended from Noah cannot possibly believe that they are also stupid.

Starting a war to maintain power is nothing surprising or new. The government that does it is in the wrong, and such activity should be soundly rejected. This does not mean that every time something goes wrong it was intended evil.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Translation:

Okay, you are right, they really aren't that stupid and it really is unlikely that they deliberately attacked a UN compound in an attempt to kill all the people there just because they are "evil".

I don't think they believe in evil. They believe in evolution, as DonQuixote referenced.
