Trump's executive order wouldn't do much to immediately help the 20 million or so Americans who face losing their homes in the next few months.

Trump signed an executive order Saturday to shield tenants from the threat of eviction, he said it would “solve that problem largely, hopefully completely.”

Yet not only would his action fail to halt evictions, it wouldn't do much of anything to immediately help the 20 million or so Americans who face the loss of their homes in the next few months amid the coronavirus crisis.

The executive order establishes nothing. Trump asks the evictions be "considered" before executing.

Actually he has a management team that puts his name on other people's developments. The last time he went totally broke, he could have been put on the street. But the people who do build apartments figured his fake name was worth something. So they allowed him to stay alive and manage the apartments, they build. He puts his name on the buildings. However, lots of apartments are taking his name down. It has become worthless.
 
This is a situation brought on by state governments. It is a state problem, and the most egregious problems with evictions are in blue states run by Democrats with draconian "lock down" laws.

The owners were nice enough to allow his management company to help run them. Now, apartments are taking his name off. You should do that for your cave.

And? Do you suppose they do not comprehend that its Pelosi and Schumer that got them kicked out because they refuse to fund the stimulus that would protect them from eviction? Trumps executive order is no different than an EO declaring that today is national hot dog day. It has no impact, other than a forbearance on student loans. Other than that, it will have zero impact. You will not see more in your paycheck, because employers are not going to change their withholding. No money will got the unemployed because it has to be administered by states that have no ability to do so. No evictions will be stopped, because there is no force behind the order. It was a cheap sideshow stunt that only the Trumptards fell for.
