Citing multiple sources, ABC News reported Wednesday that the lead investigator in the case recommended that Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter after the shooting, but the state attorney's office determined that there was not enough evidence to lead to a conviction.

there is so much information and misinformation about this case, perhaps we can use this thread to determine what the facts actually are...if possible.

the narrative on page 3 of 4 indicates zimmerman was involved in an altercation with martin....his back was wet with grass, bleeding from nose and back of head...

It doesn't matter; because the kid was black and is apparent that blacks are automatically innocent of any behavior.
 
Imagine if this case were reversed. No need to imagine. Zimmerman stalked the teenager, nothing gave him the right to do that, nor to continue when told not to, he clearly was in the wrong, and that he was armed with a gun and not man enough to challenge the boy with his hands shows the kind of man he is, a paranoid nutcase who wanted to be judge and jury but was too weak without that piece of fake courage. Next time you are followed tell us about it and your reaction. If black certain options are open, if white other options are open, race / ethnicity of pursuer matters too. Extra good luck if the nut following you is armed.
 
the pussy ass cracker had no right to even stop the kid. He should be charged with homicide. If he wasn't so proficient, I'd say it was negligent, but he seemed to be bent on shooting somebody that night

where did you get this information? and why are you passing it off as fact. as far as i can tell, the true story has not been discovered. your reaction is typical of far left dems who don't believe in facts, rather, their agenda.

how do you know he stopped him? according to him, he was headed back to his car. and since when it is illegal to accost someone on public property?

i agree that he should not have continued to follow the him after the police said they were on their way.

So you and I don't have a right to follow someone, it that what you claiming.....
One instance of following a person constitutes 'stalking'.....?
He wasn't told not to, he was he didn't have to do it.....
He didn't challenge the boy at all, not with his hands or his gun, he was attacked

Your scenario is pure bullshit....and mis-characterizes the facts as we have heard them.....

"Zimmerman stalked the teenager, nothing gave him the right to do that." Bingo! These people are twisting themselves into pretzels to justify Zimmerman's action yet nobody will touch the fact that Zimmerman had absolutely no right to hassle somebody for walking in the rain.

After discussing his location with the dispatcher, Zimmerman exclaimed, "Shit, he's running," and the following sounds suggest he left his vehicle to run after Martin.


"Are you following him?" the dispatcher asked. Zimmerman replied: "Yep."


"Okay, we don't need you to do that," the dispatcher warned.

that is at one point. he claims he was heading back to his vehicle. you weren't there, yet you're passing speculation off as fact and convicting him before you have remotely enough evidence.

he hassled him? what law says you can't follow a suspicious person? he broke no laws following him.
