Saying 'fewer guns' would have prevented this is moronic. More guns in the hands of the other people in the building might have stopped this or reduced deaths... but how exactly would fewer guns have helped? You think that terrorists are going to say 'well, there are fewer guns in society... I guess we can't use guns and bombs to kill people now'???

Also... if it was so inconsequential... then WHY is it that Rana tried to correct me on it? Why is it that idiots like Garud and the media started harping that a PP was 'right around the corner' and '2-3 blocks away'???

Can you answer any of that Christie? Or will you run away like the rest?

When major Hasan shot up Fort Hood, it was a case of lone wolf jihad in the work place. That the jihad happened at a work place [well, actually a military base lol] provided a convenient excuse to keep from labeling it what it really was.

That tortured Logic will be of no use in the CA shootings. Way too much forethought went into this one. Plus multiple perps were involved and only one of them had work associations with the victims.

That bird shouldn't fly, but nothing surprises me out of this administration. You have to wonder if the FBI isn't being pressed to not name a motive in order to give the administration time to get a narrative in place. If this would have been right wing terrorism we'd know the motive by now.

I wish I had or knew the answer to that. The reality is there has been violence since man has been on this planet and there always will be. As far as guns our best bet is to keep them out of the hands of terrorists and the mentally ill. The challenge obviously is how to do that while respecting the second amendment rights of individuals to legally carry guns. Again, I wish I knew how to do that.

Because pro-choicers are still reeling from Dear's attack on PP? Apparently the MSM reported about PP being close by and Jarod quoted from them. How else would anybody not living there know it wasn't?

Just admit the real reason you and the others are attacking liberals is because you know how we feel about the gun violence in the country, and all you guys can do is bleat about the 2nd Amendment.

How do you think gun violence could be prevented? Cons never have solutions to the problem, just insults directed at those who suggest solutions.

What does the administration have to do with this shooting?

It can't be Islamist violence, there are no reports the shooters shouted "Allahu akbar" during the rampage.

Granted, it's out of character but the other pieces to the puzzle are there. And I don't know that it's written somewhere that Allahu Akbar has to be uttered out of necessity during a jihad attack. Besides, if it's not Islamist, what is it? Were they really so torqued over the eggnog being spiked that they shot the place up and killed 14 people?

Kind of hard to believe that.
