Fauci is simply the best person to deal with pandemics and the whole world recognizes that. They have asked him to come whenever they have a virus problem. However, every single one is a bit different. That is why Corona is called a "novel" disease". We learned as time passed and more data was gathered. That is how science works. Fauci had to deal with science on one hand and Trump's demands on the other. The right demonizes those who do not follow the right-wing script.
