National militias still exist.
State militias are not gone. They also still exist.
The right of the people to bear Arms is also inherent. People as individuals have the right defend themselves.
Nothing you do can change that.
Any law restricting or banning any type of gun or any other weapon is itself unconstitutional.

It makes no sense that the federal government would control a state militia.
A State has the right of self defense, even against a rogue government.That defeats the entire purpose of a state militia to protect itself not only from foreign enemies, but the federal government.
