Jack Smith files to drop Jan. 6 charges against Donald Trump

No, it was prosecution of one who broke the law, unfortunately, the felon got himself elected President, if he hadn’t, he’d be in Court rooms for the next decade, why did you think he ran, to stay out of jail
So you're saying trump IS above the law. Trying peddling your bs elsewhere buddy. What we have here is election interference using lawfare to attack a political rival. You people are vile filthy vermin. You don't have the balls to admit you would do ANYTHING to destroy trump up to and including killing your own grandmother if you thought it would work. You people really do think everyone is as stupid as you dont you?

Hardly, not at all what I am saying, rather that Barr, assisted by Trump’s Court, made it next to impossible to ever take a sitting President to Court. Smith is just recognizing this reality, however Smith’s appeal to the Court states clearly that he doesn’t not admonish the charges and that he purposely filed the appeal “without prejudice,” meaning it could be reopened in the future

You kidding, the actual one is about to begin

As I said, the Fisher case wasn’t a blanket decision, it doesn’t apply to the other crimes, it would have no relevance over such as charges for assaulting a federal officer
As I said there is no such thing as a ruling which doesn't create precedent.

It makes the so called charges and convictions of J6ers with 18 §1512 null and void, in other words "non crimes".

Why do you suppose Americans preferred this guy?

With all his supposed crimes. Why on earth would the majority want him and not your chick?

If you ever reflect honestly the answer will be crystal clear

We got him now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The walls are closing in!!

Special counsel Jack Smith has filed a motion to drop all four felony charges against President-elect Donald Trump in connection with his effort to overturn his 2020 presidential election in the lead-up to the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the U.S Capitol.

Trump was first indicted on four felonies in August 2023: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy against rights. The case was then put on hold for months as Trump’s team argued that Trump could not be prosecuted.

The traitor gets away with it. Sad.

Breaking and entering doesn't square up with some of those patriots doing years behind bars.
A year after the attack, of the approximately 277 rioters sentenced to prison for January 6 crimes, the median sentence was 60 days; those who had committed crimes of violence generally received longer incarceration. Other punishments include home detention, fines, probation, and community service.

No. It doesn't prove that at all. It proves that DOJ policy is a President can't be indicted while he is in office.
Too bad DOJ policy doesn't preclude indicting other criminals who thought they were untouchable.

They honestly believed Harris would win and they would never be held accountable. No wonder they're so upset.

Because most Americans recognized lawfare for what it is. Riddle me this: Why the classified documents raid and case against Trump when we KNOW Joe Biden and the Hildabeast are equally culpable of the same exact crime and not getting charged? You may or may not agree with that, but most Americans saw the one-sidedness of that with Trump's being charged.

The same goes for the NY cases. Any reasonable person would say if someone engaged in a loan with a bank and 'fudged' the numbers about their net worth or whatever to get the loan but paid it back in full and both the lender and borrower were happy with the outcome, there is NO CASE for fraud, or whatever like was claimed by two prosecutors who openly vowed to "get Trump."

Sure, the Trump haters are gonna hate. They won't buy any of that because they're in the same mindset as the prosecutors were. If Trump didn't try to run for a second term, my bet is none of the above would have even happened.

Therefore, all the so-called "crimes" were ignored by most Americans. In fact, I've seen more than one X or TikTok video, etc., of some Black saying essentially, They went after Trump like they go after us. He's one of us now for getting charged like that!

The public also heard him speak, and heard Biden, then Harris speak. They watched what was happening in the US too. They had enough of the idiocy of Biden and Harris and wanted sanity back. If they couldn't fully get it, then Trump, to them, was the next best thing.

I know, you don't like any of that. You probably don't believe it. But that's how it is and why Trump won. In essence, the Left handed Trump the election. They arrogantly believed their agenda and ideas were widely accepted when they were thoroughly rejected. They ignored what people were saying about things like the economy and immigration because what the public was saying wasn't what they believed or wanted to hear.

The Left: 'The economy is doing great!"
The public: 'No, it sucks.'

The Left: 'Green is good and climate change is the greatest threat!"
The public: 'You are full of shit and we don't want EV's, solar, and shitty dishwashers that don't work...'

The Left: 'The border is secure. Immigrants are good for America!'
The public: 'The border is wide open and illegal immigrants are causing lots of crime and costing us lots of money'

The Left was tone deaf to the public. They were running candidates that were highly unpopular and looked and sounded like idiots. They saw and heard Trump at least listen to what they were saying and that's why they voted for him.

Criminal proceedings in the January 6 United States Capitol attack

I heard that the good natured Trump will not only pardon most if not all of those J6 prisoners, but if joe biden doesn't pardon his son Hunter before Trump takes over, that the good natured Trump is apt to pardon Hunter himself. Trump has gone through 8 years of lawfare and warfare against him specifically and against Republicans in general, but Trump's version of 'REVENGE' as he
clearly said that his REVENGE will be success. Notice that Trump didn't go after any of those criminal loon libs who tried their
best to jail him during his 1st presidency. He didn't even go after that Hildebeast monster who burned thousands of her emails that obviously had something to due with her Russian Collusion hoax. Again, these are reasons enough to realize just how good natured Trump has always been.

Good natured Trump 🤣🤣🤣
Transactional Felon is more accurate.

Which is why he needs to this time.

You can let something slide the first time if you think admonition is enough, but if you turn your back and the stab you, then anything but counter-attack is tantamount to surrender.

The criminal Democrats overestimated the stupidity of the American public which is a feat in and of itself.
