trump has tunnel vision. As such, all he sees are opportunities to improve his polling. I should say, 'delusions' about improving his polling. He doesn't seem to remember what he said the day before, so he'll change his tune about J'ville in less than a week.

He doesn't realize that the '16 ploy can't work now that he's in office. Anyone can claim to be an outsider who will 'fix' everything.

Jacksonville got lucky. You know trump does not pay his bills. Everyplace he goes he stiffs the communities for doing support of his rallies. They send him a bill and he uses it for toilet paper.
The convention was going to have very few people. Trump wanted a crammed hall with screaming Trumplestilskins. He wanted all the balloons with him grinning and waving . That was not happening. A large scale Tulsa was.
The Trump virus was scaring his dwindling followers away. Trump did not want to bray in front of empty seats.

DT wouldn't listen to any talk like that. The only thing that matters to him is crowd size.

As soon as he found out no big crowds, he's out.
