The gullible will always be targets of grifters. Christians just seem to be more gullible than most groups. Of course, MAGAts are in fierce competition with them.

If by gullible, you mean more trusting and forgiving, agreed.

Still, as mentioned previously, there's a fracture in the Party of Trump and it's along religious lines. Anyone who believes Trump, his cabinet and his advisors are Christian is certainly a gullible fucking moron. The Evangelicals support Republicans because Republicans support Israel. Evangelicals believe in the Second Coming and are spending time and money to set up the conditions predicted in the Bible.

However, the excesses of the Trump administration are causing those same Evangelicals to have second thoughts about the mammon-worshiping pedophile they are supporting. Watching Mike Johnson, an avowed Christian, lie his ass off for money every day can't be very inspiring for the Evangelicals.

Agreed on abortion but they are in the minority of Americans, even Republicans. Let's not forget that over half of Democrats are religious with about 40% being Christians.

Where Do Americans Stand on Abortion?

Most Americans favor abortion being legal to some degree, but there is wide disagreement about the extent.

According to Gallup's May 2025 update on Americans' abortion views, 30% believe abortion should be legal “under any circumstances,” 55% say it should be legal “under certain circumstances,” and 13% say it should be illegal “in all circumstances.” A follow-up question asked of those taking the middle position finds 19% want abortion to be legal under most circumstances, while 35% favor it in only a few circumstances...

...For the fourth consecutive year, a majority of Americans (51%) identify as “pro-choice,” while 43% say they are pro-life. Between 2007 and 2021, no more than 50% of Americans identified as “pro-choice.”...
