I am going to assume that John Kelly feels he is serving his country best by sticking with the job he has at the moment...a job which seems to include preventing the ignorant sicko currently in the Oval Office from totally destroying our Republic.

I certainly hope that is what is happening.

We probably won't know for sure until he writes his memoirs.

It seems at this point resigning and coming out against the President would better serve his country. But who knows, Kelly might actually keep the dumbass from pushing his bigger button.

I read Kelly is phased out. He is not invited to most conferences and spends much of his days working out. Trump wants abject yesmen. Kelly has eaten most of his soul and all his values to be in Daffys admin.

He may have seen it as highly unpleasant but pressing duty, it's hard to say.

I assumed that someone like Kelly had put pressure on Trump to make the excuse about "misspeaking". Does anyone believe that, btw?

Pretty much every job in america, you are merely a tool; a commodity with which to generate wealth for others in return for a subsistence existence with no voice in the workplace.
