Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Anti-nationalism, anti-theism, and collectivized property. Those are, perhaps, the sentiments of the early USSR. Not exactly conservative values, though.

This thing is so funny because for years liberals have been treating the lyrics to this song with some sort of biblical reference. The jokes on you, libtards. :D

Doesn't matter. The rules against plagiarism are clear. The text is copyrighted.

Plagiarism is not the posting of copyrighted text. It is the claiming of someone else's work as your own. This would apply even if there were no copyright on the work - if I posted the US Constitution online and put "By: Watermark" at the end, that would be plagiarism. Posting lyrics is not plagiarism.

BTW, everything that you or I write is copyrighted, so I'm infringing on your copyright by quoting you.
