Im hoping the D's do find a way to go ahead with the impeachment. Should be a real laugh riot considering no evidence exists that would prove DJT incited a riot. In fact,....all it would prove is that he didnt. There were antifa types already roaming the capital before his speech was even over.

They didn't impeach a private citizen, trump was impeached while he was in office, Both times, the Impeachment is Done, it is only the trial that is left to deal with and yes it is Constitutional.

You are correct i was referring to the entire process which people generally refer to as impeachment. It creates confusion. I was specifically referring to the claim that chief justice Roberts is refusing to do his constitutional duty. I merely pointed out that there is no president to "impeach" but more precisely convict as trump isn't president. He is not mandated to president the trial of a non president

He is Already Impeached, if you do not know that you really have no idea what you are rambling on about.
They can use the 14th A to keep trump out of office, simple majority and it is a done deal. The trial is simply the court determining whether or not trump is responsible for the charges in his Impeachment, knowing the spineless Repubs they will be too afraid to do the right thing. Count on this trump will Never hold office again and four the next few years he is going to be very busy in civil and criminal courts, enjoy.
Roberts is actually doing the right thing and if you may have noticed there are rules in place on how this can proceed, basically it is up to the Senate to run the trial. Not to worry, there are too many spineless Republicans to make trump accountable, they sold their souls to trump years ago.
That said the 14th A is there whenever the Dems want to employ it and ensure trump never holds office again, which I doubt he would anyway.
Thing is trump forces these actions himself by doing and saying outrageous things and has no one else to blame for his problems but himself. If this had been a Democrat President the right would demand his head on a plater and we all know that, so what we have is a double standard.
