Johnny Manziel, or at least the idea of him, bothers a lot of people in college athletics. Between his off-field behavior, the autograph pseudo-scandal, the on-field antics and the way he has sucked everyone at Texas A&M into his orbit, a trail of resentment – or maybe jealousy – follows Johnny Football.

Not even close. You think a poor player taking cash is the same as a rich player charging for autographs and showing attitude as Manziel has done. As I said, not even close.
