Johnny McConnell has made his decision; now let him enforce it.

Associate Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson (oh, delicious irony) issued an administrative stay in the SNAP benefits case awaiting a full ruling.

The First Circuits is ordered to to issue its ruling on the stay request (“with dispatch”).

Her administrative stay ends 48 hours after that ruling is issued (or upon further order).

It’s really a rebuke of the First Circuit taking a pass on the Admin stay request.

My guess is that Affirmative Action Jackson called Chief Justice Roberts and he told her she had to do it. :rofl2:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Some states have already spent 100% of the SNAP funds they assumed they were gonna get reimbursed for at midnight.

The Supreme Court continues its spanking of the rogue First Circuit hacktivist judges.

This time it's doubled my pleasure and doubled my fun, staying both Talwani and McConnell's orders.

Sounds like the Supreme Court has already decided to tell the lower courts they can't in effect run the executive branch of government and that these orders to spend money on this or that are completely out of line.

The Supremes generally avoid any fights they can avoid.

Which has a lot to do with how we got to this Shit Show.
