Never was there any practice of anything until McConnel. Weird part is they were right but now we see it was more of the classic what I say, not what I do. And these hypocrites want to talk Christian values. Their word is officially less useful than other forms of excrement. To a Christian, one's word is part of extending the hand of God.

No, it's called exposing your leftist hypocrisy by using your own made-up rules against you. It's similar to Betsy DeVos fining Princeton and launching an investigation because academia keeps admitting to its own systematic racism (although leftists in academia may actually be racist).

I'm a little surprised no one has taken you up on this. I ran into a fucktard last night who thought the Senate was Constitutionally obligated to remove Trump from office because the House impeached him. That kind of ignorance is astounding and I'm shocked no one has even tried to take your user names from you.

Sorry but Democrats never did shit. Republicans demanded a spitballed idea with Obama and now it's time to play by their own rules. It's a good rule to. By this time in a presidency, the people are always anxious with the current administration and the voice of the people isn't the same it was 4 years ago. Let the people speak, not what is typically a worn-out leader. It's also very important to address the pandemic, current civil unrest, and who exactly RGB was in the issue at hand. Handling this in such an ass in face manner could push riots and protesting into a full-blown uprising for all you know. The trust in this country is stagnant and the corruption and attitudes are stoking fires before other ones can settle.

The Senate majority leader controls the Senate. Right now he is a Republican, and he was when a Democratic president tried to get a nominee through in an election year. We have a Republican president and the Senate has all the power it needs to confirm another justice.
