I think I could add or subtract from server time, however the site has to draw time from somewhere. It isn't like the software itself keeps track.ummmmmmm no. i think php.ini overrides server settings.

Couldn't you delegate one of your minions to keep the time manually, second by second?

They are the ones complaining!
I mean who cares really? In the lower right hand corner is your computer clock and just look at that. I don't think I've ever really paid attention to the jpp clock except to see how late and how early a person is posting.
You'd have better payoff worrying about how fast grass grows...

Are you able to run NTP as a daemon?
Why would he not be able to run a NTP?
Who knows? When Prendergasp asks a FFQ, one has to wonder WGAFF?

well im not a gaybo that uses emoticons everywhere so I dont' really have any memorized
Why would he not be able to run a NTP?
Because Damo said this forum is on a shared server, presumably using virtualisation.
Could he still not use an external NTP server?
The server would have to use NTP, not the software... I don't own the server, I just rent space. The whole point of NTP is to get the system time from an external server, however I don't know if they are able to do that or not on the forum's server.
