Judge SLASHES Bond from $1.2 Million to $7,000 for Foreign Trucker Who Killed 5 Including a Baby in Fiery Austin Crash

I've read like 5 articles on this and none of them give the name of corrupt judge who cut bond to 7K. Anyone catch the name?
I could be wrong, but it appears to be the same judge who originally set bail as high as it could go, $1.2 million. He was willing to try to get the truck driver, until all the evidence disappeared.

Are you going to go after the white guy who caused the accident now, or stick with racism as your guiding light?

Another outlaw trucker kills some people. Truck drivers are exempted from Federal minimum wage and overtime laws, and therefore are pretty much going to have to violate laws restricting their hours driving, usually working over 100-120 hours a week, and lying about 40 of them in order to drive longer, being paid by the zip code distances. Foreign drivers are even crazier, and these CDL mills feed the industry with a constant supply of unqualified employees, usually paid for by Federal and subsidies from Federal and state 'job training' funds. The stare of Illinois even got caught selling CDL's to people who didn't even bother with the fake schools.

Same old shit, different day. Even local drivers get screwed, since companies that require a CDL for a job get to abuse drivers the same way, claiming they're 'truck drivers' even when they might only drive for 10 minutes out of every hour and do labor for the other 50 minutes, they get exempted and will be worked 70-80 hours a week at 'straight pay' with no overtime pay.
They won't violate their hours if they have a computer system. Today I think all trucking companies do now. We had CADEC (this was over 20 yrs. ago) and we had to "punch out" when we stopped at each delivery, then "punch back in" when we finished delivering our goods because the time we took doing deliveries came off the daily and weekly driving logs. Even if the driver ran out of hours just 30 miles from base, they sent another driver to bring the truck back to the base. They were very strict about that since all the driving times were recorded on computer.

Like I said, there were drivers who couldn't speak English coming into the hub I recently worked at. They often drove in teams, one drove while the other slept and they were here in PA in 3 days from CA. They also had to "call in" when they arrived.

Yep, I worked those long hours back then, and made damn good money doing it. There were 2 tractors in our fleet that didn't have CADEC, so when any back hauls came back from Manhattan (or wherever) that couldn't be finished on a Friday, we took one of those tractors and delivered it on Sat. morning. Some weeks I made well over $2k, but that came to an end shortly before I left. The drivers that had local short runs took those runs (usually just 1 or 2 stops) because they had enough hours left.

What "white guy" caused this accident, Walt?

What white guy Walter?

Sedition is what you promote, undermining the rule of law and the functioning of the government.

You seek chaos the the dissolution of society.

Treason is not correct, as you don't openly support an enemy at times of war, you just seek to destroy the Constitutional Republic.

You are an insurrectionist.
That's funny since Trump just met yesterday with someone who was convicted of sedition.

He failed a breathalyzer but passed a blood test. So either the blood test was taken to much later or the breathalyzer was wrong.
He didn't fail a breathalyzer. He failed a field sobriety test. Facts matter. Being in shock after hitting so many cars can certainly be a reason for being unsteady on his feet and having red eyes.

I am not saying he wasn't at fault. I am merely pointing out that to convict him of a crime or hold him in jail you have to have actual facts. You can't simply make shit up because that will only result in him getting off scott free.

You're defending a psychopath who does 63 in a 30 zone?? Get help.
How many athletes have gone over 100 in a 50 mph zone? 100? 2000?

Speeding doesn't make someone a psychopath. It means he will no longer have a CDL license since they are pretty strict about traffic violations but he hadn't been convicted of that yet so it hadn't yet affected his CDL.

Gandhi?

It's amusing that you Stalinists think the political prisoners you took during your Pogroms somehow make you look good..

Yes, you threw the political opposition in prison - Joseph Stalin is proud of you.
Why are you upset that people got due process? They were indicted by a citizen grand jury. They had lawyers. They put on a defense. Their guilt was found by a citizen jury that their lawyers helped select. That is nothing like what Stalin did and more than what Trump appears to be doing.

He failed a breathalyzer but passed a blood test
No he did not. He failed a field sobriety test, which shows his balance. That would be expected after a concussion from a car accident. It is not a crime. It is evidence to get probable cause to draw blood.

There is no allegation he was drinking, and therefore a breathalyzer would be useless.

The blood test proved he was absolutely not using drugs.

The accusation was that even though he did not cause the crash, he could have avoided it had he been sober. He was sober, so we have to look at the driver who did cause the crash, who has gone unnamed, because authorities do not want to violate his privacy. All we know is that he has sued just about everyone involved, and some people not involved, like Amazon.

This unnamed driver kills a bunch of people with his poor driving, and then has the nerve to sue... And still the police cover for him... We do not know for certain he is white, but I think we all know he was white.

This is the worst part of it: (cited from the article)

Araya is an asylum seeker on a work visa who barely speaks English and is employed by a network of questionable LLCs currently under investigation by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
Araya was driving under a Texas-based company called ZBN Transport LLC. The company shares a physical address—9180 Forest Lane, Apt. 202, Dallas, TX—with at least a dozen other transportation LLCs registered in the same North Dallas apartment complex, each under slightly different names or unit numbers.

Araya is from Ethiopia, hardly a country that gives reason for someone to seek asylum in the US. While Ethiopia has an internal conflict going on since 2018, this hardly constitutes reason to give asylum to someone.

The 'company' Araya was driving for appears to be a shell corporation that is designed to skirt US safety and transportation laws, as well as likely tax laws, and avoid prosecution. I wouldn't be surprised if ZBN suddenly went out of business the day after this accident leaving victims with no company they could sue. Likely, the insurer of ZBN is some fly-by-night company as well that will just fold up and disappear too.
