The closing statements are Monday. I read Trump wants to fly in for that. However, he would not defend himself in court. He would not testify under oath. He does not have the ability to keep from lying and incriminating himself.

The interesting thing is this is a civil case. In a civil case, the jury decides based on the preponderance of evidence. When only one side provides evidence and witnesses, it makes it hard to argue that the side the provided no evidence should win.

that listened to all the evidence and arguments presented by attorneys for and against the accusation and concluding that Trump is in fact "guilty" of raping her. Whether or not he faces any jail time because this is a civil and not criminal court finding is meaningless. He fucking did it.

Meaning if Trump is lying when he denies E Carol's charges that means a jury has concluded he is guilty of defamation. In simplier terms, they have concluded he did in fact rape her.
