Yes you’re correct. My question should have been why the investigation. But I found the answer listening to that idiot of a jury foreman. The prosecutor is in for a rough ride IMHO.
First will come the calls for dismissal, and then the appeals if on the off chance anyone is convicted.
I really have to wonder at the current state of jurisprudence in Georgia. I wonder how vapid the rest of the grand jury is if that woman was selected as the foreman.
On the other hand, I can see a scenario where the prosecution told her that the whole enchilada was a stinker, and they would make it worth her while to torpedo the whole thing by flapping her gums on cnn and any other outlet that would listen.
This thing could also just be a way to make campaigning a royal pain in the ass for Trump, especially if they can wangle a court date close to the election.
